Oregon.

Company Profile
City Lumber is a family owned lumberyard/home center located in Astoria,
Oregon. Founded in 1904, City Lumber started as City Lumber & Box
Company. With the lumberyard on a dock over the Columbia River, City
Lumber & Box Company provided boxes and materials to the fishing
industry and lumber and building materials to Astoria and the surrounding area.
A few years later, City Lumber & Box changed it's name to City Lumber and
Supply to reflect other products we were selling. In 1956, City
Lumber and Supply incorporated as City Lumber Company, Inc.
In 1975 Jerry and Nancy Newenhof purchased City Lumber. With their sons
Greg and Jeff, and a staff of dedicated employees, the Newenhof's transformed
City Lumber from "just a lumberyard" to the most complete Home Center
on the Oregon and Washington coasts.
City Lumber looks to continue it's tradition of 100 years of service to
the community.
